Sometimes my FAST doesn’t get along with my girlfriend…

Tuesday, February 28th, 2006

And if that’s the case she goes!  Just kidding, well after a considerable chunck of money my car is back in working order.  Although the only item saying it wasn’t was the service manual.  It’s been a crazy couple of weeks and I haven’t had much time to comment on my latest sushi adventures, but it looks like Tampa will be my next posting.  I think I managed to pull off a hotel on the ocean, we’ll see though.

In other news it seems my Aikido skills weren’t all lost as was proven last night, almost 6 months out of practice and I can still roll with the worst of them.  Lastly, I’m on a Michael Crichton binge fest lately, I finished Airframe last week and I’m almost finished with Prey; need more input!

The stuff dreams are made of

Monday, January 30th, 2006

Well I drove the car of my dreams tonight, it was a 2003 Audi A4 V6 3.0L 6SPD manual silver w/ black interior for you women readers. I drove it on the Beltline (equivalent to 355 for you Illinois drivers) like I was on the Autobahn or like I just stole the car (I was doing 80MPH before I realized I was in a 55MPH zone). It was great, the car handled beautifully and I think I have to go check it out during lunch tomorrow.
The big problem was of course the price, I’m not sure it’s something I can afford right now, nor should I since the Jetta’s only problem is it’s extreme lack of power and small size. Otherwise it’s been a great car and I’m sure will continue to be a great car.

When is a gallon of OJ not enough?

Friday, January 6th, 2006

When you’re sick of course. I’ve been on a steady diet of OJ, cereal, DayQuil, NyQuil, multi-vitamins and green tea. So, with that said I’m still on track with my New Year’s Resolution of watching a crap load of movies. Last night’s installment included the Last Castle which I didn’t even bother to finish, I may be getting sick of movies. Although, I did watch Mean Girls the other day and must say it was *slightly* amusing.

Rule #76: No excuses. Play like a champion!

I just saw Wedding Crashers last night and it was hilarious. Lots of great quotes and good fun all throughout the movie. I’ve also found the girl of my dreams Rachel McAdams, yes she is quite the woman. Yes, I know she was in The Notebook and Mean Girls, but she’s still suitable for my needs. I’m sorry Lindsay Lohan, but you’re co-star doesn’t smoke and is much more mature. Plus I don’t have to listen to her horrible records.

*This was meant to be a joke and in no way resembles my real life, as a gas station employee.

In other news it’s friggin cold here in Wisconsin, I miss the warm weather incredibly and I don’t want to buy new winter clothes, I’d rather winter just go away.
